About Us
Curious Tales was born when I started to wonder what kinds of adventures my “new” second-hand jacket had been on. If this jacket could speak, I thought, it would have tales to tell!
It also helped that I worked with jackets like that for 3 years on Trash Fashion, a project with New Belfast Community Arts Initiative, which taught community groups and schools how to sew and design, using recycled clothing as the raw materials.
My studio space is in Belfast, in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter. I share it with my best friend Fleur Jackson, who is a fabulous artist and interior designer. She revamps furniture, paints ghostly renaissance pictures and can redesign your space to within an inch of its life! You can check out her stuff at www.fleurjackson.com
